It's a cute, babling town with pleasant villagers built along the riverside. It constantly goes on the Earthly Path to-and-from Whiterun and Honningbrew Meadery.
Alectra - The she-cat who basically is unofficial town leader. She works at her forge. (4pinkbear)
Silverstorm - This cat got lost on her way to get away from a distant land past the Great Sea. She lives with Alectra. (4pinkbear)
Patchi - She's a quiet young she-cat, the mate of the Earl of Whiterun, Dustin. (4pinkbear)
Katecha - the daughter of Patchi and Dustin. She works at Honningbrew Meadery and is seen occaisionally moving to and from the Earthly Path.
Q - Mysterious, fluffy pale golden she-cat with pale blue eyes. She wears pale blue robes with chainmail stitched into the sleeves and torso, showing she's a battlemage. (Elorisa)
Alectra yawned and stretched her back, and then grabbed her small hammer to keep working.
Q poked her head out of her den, and watched Alectra from afar, resting her head on her paws. She glanced up as she saw a cat. Narrowing her eyes, she turned her head from Alectra and observed the new cat.
Loki glanced around at Riverwood, golden eyes wide.
Nice town. A bit quiet, but nice. Tabitha might want to stay here. he thought, chuckling a bit to himself as he thought of the crotchety old she-cat. She never likes to stay in one place for very long. Can't say I blame her; I can't understand how Njord stays in Whiterun.
Yawning, he noticed a small she-cat watching him. "Hey, I'm not that unusual. Just a mage watching out for a crotchety old cat." he said to the she-cat, who slinked back into her den at the sound of the tom's voice.
Chuckling, he turned around to greet said-old cat as she approached him.
"So, I'm not just old, I'm crotchety now?" she said scathingly, a hint of affection underneath for the younger tom.
"Tabitha, you're one of the oldest cats I've known."
"Yet, I'm still an accomplished assassin. Who'd of thought?"
"I certianly didn't when I first saw you." Loki replied, ears twitching.
"Anyway Loki, Njord sends his greetings. He also wishes you would stay with him more often, as he misses you. Makes me want to vomit on how he makes those sad puppy eyes when he talks about you." she added, sitting down.
"I'll visit him after I find a place for you to stay, Tabitha. I don't want you dying a proud death on the road."
"I can die however I want to die." she sniffed, and turned away, closing her eyes snidely.
Tabitha glanced around, eyes narrowing as she caught an unfamiliar scent coming from the trees.
"Loki, it seems we're not the only ones who have decided to come to Riverwood today." she said, pointing with her tail towards the trees. Fenris What has magic touched that it doesn't spoil? 17:29, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
Loki glanced up at the she-cat.
Alectra and the timid Silverstorm padded up next to the conversing cats.
"Who're ya'll? This here is Riverwood. I'm Alectra, I run the finest forge around. You folks look 'sponsible. How about I give you a deal? I'll give you anything you wan' from my forge-I have plent' of armor and Swordclaws and Daggerclaws, Robes, Maceclaws...anythin' ya need, on th' house." she mewed.
"I-I'm Sil-silverstorm...I l-live with A-al-lect-tr-tra." Silverstorm stammered nervously.
Patchi padded over, eyes narrow.
"Travelers? You should all be in Whiterun. My mate is the Jarl of Whiterun, Dustin. There's a better forge there than here, more to eat, a great place to run a family, even if Dustin stationed me and my daughter, Katecha, here. I have another daughter, but her father is a Theif Mage, I don't like to talk about him. Her name is Violet. Left me to become a mage-a traveler." she growled.
Violet charged into Riverwood, panting.
"Alectra, I need to purchase battle armor! Jarl Dustin has summoned me to the Dragonborn Watch!" she panted, and then saw Patchi. She narrowed her eyes briefly, hostility flashing in her unusual lime-green eyes, and then looked to the others.
"Hi Q, been a while, hasn't it?" she mewed.
Q nodded, eyes flashing warily.
"That is has."
"Dear, I've been to Whiterun. My love lives in Whiterun. I like the quiet of Riverwood." he said, eyes glinting with mischiviousness. "But Njord does not."
Tabitha rolled her eyes.
Q tilted her head at Lily.
"Dragons-out at Whiterun!" Violet gasped out.
"I'm a dubbed Thame to the Jarl-I need assistance! Alectra, your best enchanted armor!" Violet meowed hastily, throwing Alectra a heavy Coin Purse, with large Gold Nuggets.
"Righto, ma'am!" Alectra mewed, and ran into her forge, coming back with a painted olive-green-and-red armor with a mage cloak attachment. Violet threw the hood over her head, her face brimming with excitement.
"Can you get me my Shadow Swordclaws?" she asked Silverstorm. Silverstorm nodded in glee, handing her the claws and helping her get them on.
"Retractable, check." Violet mewed, and then turned to the others.
"I will need assistance." she meowed worriedly.
Loki's ears perked up.
"Dragon? I'll help." he said, standing up and yawning. Tabitha sighed.
"I don't want Loki to get hurt. I'll come with."
"Come, you three, to my forge briefly. Whiterun has enough defense, Violet, you can go help in a moment, but these cats have barely the armor to fight it!" Alectra meowed hastily to Q, Tabitha, and Loki, scrabbling over to her home.
Tabitha looked offended.
"I have plenty of armor." she said, sniffing disdainfully. Loki rolled his eyes.
"What she's saying is that Tabitha and I have enough armor."
"It has built-in-armor, but you can't see it. Very thin, but strong, in the center of the fabric." Alectra mewed.
Violet nodded to the others.
"Meet me in Skyrim Fields (Land of Skyrim, look at front page)." she meowed, and darted off.
"STUPID GIRL!" Patchi spat at her.
